Bruce went and bought a little plastic pool for the children.
He also bought his mom a espresso machine - the one George Clooney advertises.
Wow! It took me back to the coffee shop we had in Swakopmund.

Long time since I made an entry into this blog.
2016 - September: What a wonderful month this was. Elizabeth and I were sponsored a 2 week period in Somerset West fuel included. We were asked by our Area Bishop to see some professionals as we have had a number of hard years in the ministry. Just as well. We were counseled, medicated, and had a much needed rest. One we could never have afforded.
Synod and several conferences were part of the planned refreshment. Synod this year was a wonderful and spiritually uplifting occasion. What a blessing our new Presiding Bishop is, and the Cape Area Bishop as well. What a wonderful new emphasis on shepherding for our denomination. Read the Presiding Bishop's Charge here, http://reachsa.org.za/2016/09/bishop-glenn-lyons-charge-2016/
While away Bruce, my son, led the services at church and preached for three Sundays. Good sermons too. Once again I was so proud to be his dad.
We returned home full of fire and zeal for the work of God.
2016 - October: Grinding at the grindstone of ministry. We watched a you tube testimony of the actor who plated Jesus in the Passion of Christ. wow! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1xxRvSp5KCg this is probably the best testimony I have ever listened to.
My Diabetes is a real problem in my old age. The whole body tingles like one has pins and needles - the feet hurt all the time - the sore feet wake you at night and you have to rub in "Pedi Relax" before you can sleep again. Not complaining just letting you know.
My Sleep Apnia machine (CPAP) broke and a new one cost's R11000.00, I have no medical and the gov hospital will not provide one. So you suffer brain damage every time you sleep. My son, Bruce, went and bought me a new machine. God is so good to have given me a son I am so proud of.

To Windhoek we go - again 7.9.2014
So once again on the 7th of August 2014 I went to Windhoek Namibia. This time I am developing a Web Page for our Forex Business, (ForexSpecialForces.com). I should say Llewellyn is developing it, I am really just getting underfoot and trying to learn how to administer it in the coming years DV - So Llewellyn and Roline have seven children now, home school them, and a more well behaved and pleasant bunch of children I have yet to meet. Pictures will be posted later.
On returning to the RSA I got arrested at the Namibian border and slung into jail, just to be released as the official made a mistake. Then on the South African border, detained for smuggling, just to be released again when they worked out that I was not a smuggler. Phew!
